Experimenting with varied mark making in each painting...I want the flowers to be bold, haphazard and fleshy.. heavy with paint ... while the background landscape should not be as vibrant but still with interest. I've built up a surface of glazes in the background and scraped back in places which makes it all very interesting to look at up close.
